SoftBank Robotics held a Press Conference to announce the set up of its APAC headquarters in Singapore and the commercial launch of Whiz in Singapore. SoftBank Robotics Singapore was present at Funan Mall to demonstrate the capabilities of Whiz. The public was able to understand how Whiz is able to avoid obstacles through its on-board LIDAR sensor and air filtration capabilities with its HEPA filter which captures 99.97% of PM2.5 particles, including pollen and house dust.
Fraser Hospitality kindly invited SoftBank Robotics Singapore to share about Whiz during its GM Conference in 2019. The event was attended by the Fraser Hospitality’s senior management who was interested to find out about new technologies for adoption within the Hotel Group.
SoftBank Robotics Singapore participated in the event to connect with Hotel partners and introduced Whiz to the industry. In line with the Government’s call to adopt technologies, Whiz is able to augment the housekeeping workforce as they embark on their Hotel Job Redesign Initiative.
