In collaboration with Singapore Press Club, SoftBank Robotics Singapore held our first Knowledge Webinar to share about current developments in the robotics industry, how COVID-19 has accelerated the adoption of robotics solutions and the future of the robotics industry as we move towards a new norm.
The Webinar had a lively discussion to find out how robotics solutions can be assimilated easily into our daily life, while taking care of the current employees who might not be technologically-savvy. Mr Eric shared that SoftBank Robotics is in the process of rolling out courses that enable workers to become familiar with such robotics solutions. In addition, Mr Ben further shared that Robots should be seen as assisting workers with their daily tasks. An example is the nighttime security guards where robots with night vision capabilities can assist the guards to identify threats faster.
We were fortunate to have our partners, Dr Frank Guan Yunqing, Assistant Professor from Singapore Institute of Technology and Mr Ben Lim, Senior Director from Jones Lang LaSalle to join us for the webinar, together with Mr Eric Lim, Singapore Sales Director from SoftBank Robotics Singapore.
