SoftBank Robotics has the core technology in AI and existing customer network in Hong Kong and beyond, while Avalon has expertise in advanced disinfection and sanitization technologies. We combined our effort to develop innovative products and technologies not only for the local market, but we also export them worldwide through the sales network of SoftBank Robotics.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cThis joint venture with Avalon sets a good example for us to adopt local business environment by partnering with local company. We also partner with property developers and property management companies. With SBRG\u2019s strong global brand identity, we see working with local partners helps accelerate business expansion in the local market more effectively. We are targeting to increase the workforce in coming months and will start a new office for R&amp;D and after sales service.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion, Mr Charles Ng, said, \u201cWe are happy to see SBRG\u2019s continued expansion in Hong Kong through a joint venture with a local company. It gives rise to new technologies and new jobs to Hong Kong people. It shows the benefits of introducing foreign companies into Hong Kong.
